I bought this Magnavox mainly because it has the FM option. Prewar FM tuner.
Sadly its main AM radio dial and escutcheon was missing
The two shards were all that was left of it
Interestingly enough, immediately after I bought it, I came across another chassis WITH the needed dial and escutcheon!:D
Talk about crazy good luck!
Here are some photos. Its finish isn't great, but the cabinet is solid.
Again, another changer replaced with a newer one. It was a common thing to do.
