This is my Freed Eisemann 52
The Freed Eisemann name dates to the 1920s when they had their heyday, but at the end of the 20s, the company was sold to Earl Radio/Freshman
Joe and Arthur Freed contined in radio forming another company, but it folded. This was the 3rd attempt where Joe got an Armstrong FM license in 1940. and formed this rendition of Freed Eisemann.
Sadly Joe passed away in April 1941, but the company endured with Arthur at the helm
This one had the changer replaced with a VM. All literature I found stated this model had a Garrard RC-30A
I found an RC-30A but it does not fit! I wondered what was originally in there, until i found yet another 52 with the original changer
A Webster 41
The tag at the back of the phono compartment reads "Freed Eiseman Radio Phonograph with Frequency Modulation"
